Well the tranny fluid does need to be changed. Any tranny specialty shop would be a good place to go. What I do, or have, is an old compressor from a freezer to use as suction. I stick a line through the fluid check tube and start of the compressor. This way it is less of a messy job, plus I can get up to 2 gallons or 8 quarts out during a fluid change because the fluid is warm, not hot and the vehicle is on ramps or inclined.

If you do not want to take it to a shop any change is good.

also, most corporate shops (monro, meineke, etc) can do power flushes...i would recommend a power flush..not just a drain and refill

i did the hose down the filler tube got 8 qts, change the pan gskt.and filter

found a small metal line running into what appears to e a modulator of some kind,

anyway metal pipes are only press fit and one was out so i don,t know if the fluid or the tube, fixed the problem but it works a ton better now still has a little hesitation in reverse, but its much better and another change is in the very near futureit can,t hurt!

i want to thanks all you guys for all the help! scootertrash in houston texas "ya,ll come see us hear!!"

Good deal. Even thought they are fitted lines, you can replace with proper transmission hose and use two clamps on either end. I replaced my lines by cutting off the end with the fitting going to the tranny cooler on the radiator and put on new hose with two clamps. Works great. Glad we could help.

Use Amsoil in your tansmission, see what that does.

Do a fuul flush(torque converter too) and new filter, gasket.
