Default I'll file them for future usage...where are they located...?

Hard to find parts will possibly require a s&h factor...

Since we have a fairly common vehicle & many bone-yards in my larger metro area....I can avoid the s&h as well as any delays waiting for the delay. Many of my local yards will pull a part as well...some only operate as 'pull-to-order'...no roaming the yard...

I have used car-parts.com for some Audi parts since those parts are not usually available as spares in most local yards...the salvage base cars are fairly expensive...past what most local yards want to deal w/for their method of operation....

The ad appeared on this Buick site a couple of weeks ago.
I believe they're located in Miamisburg , Ohio.

I have been unsuccessful attempting to locate the parts for joseph 44 , so far.
I have come across many of his inquires on various Buick parts sites though.

I am curious as to just what may be the problem with the control head for the Park Ave. Depending on what the problem is, sometimes a good electronic tech may be able to replace the defective component .

Default Hanky's thoughts are right-on....

I assume that Joseph44 wants to save money &/or just do it himself...if possible...

Since the original part(s) can not be fixed by Joseph44...he is seeking a replacement...so the next best suggestions as Hanky has made...& Joseph44 has tried...seek it himself in his local yards....but since it's an aging vehicle...1983...it will become even harder to find.

I think Joseph44 could contact his local yard to 'search' for his parts...

I have seen several national search sites for salvage yards but don't have on to link @ this moment....I'll keep it in mind....I'll try the car-parts.com link I posted recently to see if I can find the '83' prk ave actuator valves....

Default Joseph44...need more info. from your manuals....

Any mention in the manuals & your personal knowledge as to the model years that the Park Ave. had this exact actuator valve system....Like maybe 1981 thru 1985...etc.

I just did a search on car-parts.com w/years 1980 thru 1985 and found 5 yards w/prices, condition & description for "COMPLETE ELECTRONIC TEMP. CONTROL"...

Even though the search description wasn't heater actuator valves...it's close... These & other yards are willing to pick your parts....I'm sure a telephone call to them will give them a better description-location on the 1983 for them to locate it for you....of course they will have to have or had the base 1983 Park Ave. in their yard.

I just tried to leave my search result link...but it didn't work...just the webpage....

Anyway...try it...it may help find your part quicker...
