Hello everyone. I just registered here because I need to confirm what the dealer told me. The dealer says the dash must come off and charges four hours labor to replace the temp control acutator (that makes one side warm while the other side stays cold). I can see the part behind the glove box, and doubt what I have heard. Has anyone replaced their temp control actuator without removing the dash? I would really appreciate some tips on doing this myself. This is a 1997 LeSabre Limited. Thanks a lot. Tom

I have seen discussions on this subject before and according to your description the dealer seems to be leading you correctly.
There have been problems in other cars in this area.

Good Luck
