On my 84 Riviera the heater fan motor will not shut off, not even with the key off. Key off it still runs. Unplug the wire to fan motor and it stops running. It has climate control heat system. small v8, gas motor. Was told possible that fan motor relay is stuck. I got new relay at NAPA store to replace it. Looked on firewall and was not able to see or find anything resembling the relay that I get at parts store. Would someone be able to tell me where the fan motor relay is located. My Clymer repair manual did not show a relay in the wireing schymatic. It did not have anything on heater fan motor. Thanks Ed southwest Ohio.

well ed,

on some of the older models such as yours, the relay was located behind the dashon the passenger side. look up in that direction, you may need to remove the glove box for easier access,

good luck and god speed

on my 98 chevy lumina, the blower motor resistor is located inside the ductwork next to the blower motor. look for a small square access panel in the ducting
