Buick engine overheating & odor when fan

Have 2 Buick problems. One is 1995 Buick Century that overheats. Everything has been run and no reason has shown up. Second is 2006 Buick LaCrosse, when fan turned on there is odor. Dealer oxidized air but problem still there. They can find no reason. Ready to turn it back to them. Anyone that can help, THANKS
