Overheating 3.3 V6

The 92 Skylark with 3.3 is running hot constantly. Replaced the thermostat, and the upper hose, and housing and inside of block was BONE DRY. So I am assuming that it would be either the Water Pump or the Radiator is plugged. If it is the water pump, do you have to remove the engine supports and lift the engine?
