Greetings to all. I`m a newbee. I hope this is the correct forum, that I am hoping to find some help thru. Need some help and advise on the heater fan motor. Fan motor will not shut off unless I unplug the wire going to it. Key off it still runs. Tried a shade tree repair of a toggle switch but it heats up way too hot. Afraid of fire. Several suggestion given to me were possible fan motor relay stuck. Got a new relay. Now the embarassment shows. Can not find heater fan motor relay on the car. My son and I both looked closely on firewall but no luck finding anything looking like the relay I got at NAPA store. Anyone happen to know where this relay is located ? The car is a 84 Riviera, small v8, climate control heater system, gas motor. Be gentle with me as these newer cars with all the fancy electronic stuff mystifies me. I am a fair mechanic on older stuff and can stay up on my Ironhead sportster. But this riviera has me buffaloed. If I am in the wrong place maybe point me in the right place. Thanks Ed Southwest Ohio
