'01 le sabre limited The problem i have is that the fuel gauge just shows whatever it wants. is this just a sending unit going bad?just bought the car and this is the only problem with it. any help will b appericiate.

 

Not knowing what kind of tools you have available or your ability to lift and get under the vehicle, What should be done is to check all the wiring connections at the fuel tank plug and see if the same readings are obtained there. If the poor readings are confirmed at the tank wiring plug , it would most likely be a faulty sending unit in the tank.
