1995. 185K, Still runs perfect, now all of a sudden, the passenger side is blowing cold, regardless of the setting (dash or door). Behind the glove box is the actuator/arm/& door control, I can force it to put hot air to the passenger vents, but: anyone know what is the "normal" or "home (off) position for this mechanism?? Therer are NO vacuum hose pblms. or leaks, any ideas?? Thanks

I got it fixed this morning: Remove the glove box cover, and on the LOWER end of the big black heat exchange box is another actuator, thin threaded rod operated by a white plastic "arm" (this is controlled by the passenger side temperature controller on the door). The threaded rod had fallen out of the notch it site in in the plastic arm that pushes it in(warmer) or out (cooler) for the passenger side vents. The rod just snapped back into the arm, I used the discolored part of the rod to "estimate" where it was located. Works like now again.

Thanks!!
