New heat need guidance
My father died and I hadn’t the heart to start it since his funeral (when we drove it in the procession) I went to start it after 3 years and it only runs a second if I spray started fluid in the carb. Do I need to drain all the fuel? It doesn’t seem like fuel is getting into the glass bowl. Also mice ate the entire heat cover that adheres to the bottom side of the hood. Where can I locate quality replacement parts. Any help to get her back on the road will be appreciated

Since this goes back a bit, where is the glass bowl, on the fuel pump or at the carb inlet?
Don't want to cause any undue alarm, but ,,,check very carefully for where mice could have eaten off the insulation from any wiring. For some reason they dine in that insulation and leave bare wires.
Tap the bottom of the fuel tank, it just might be out of fuel.

I’m not sure what they may have chewed through but it is a concern! The glass bowl is separate from the carb and sits back a bit and to the left of it. As I said I feel like it’s starved for fuel. Is there an additive to put in to freshen up the stale gas so I do t need to drain it. Also, how do you check the fuel pump
