Hi,

I have an '87 LeSabre - old and ugly (kidswanted to surprise me and tried wax it in 108 degree heat - but that's a WHOLE other story) but its pretty reliable.

Recently, it's been getting more and more difficult to start, and occasionally sputters as I'm starting through an intersection, especially if I'm at an incline.

Could this be the battery? Fuel pump? Fuel filter?

I'm really an automotive novice and I'd like a bit of input before I start messing around under the hood.

Thanks!
