Regals get taken away by a local eBay seller. Centuries are still safe. I will try and get a bracket and construct a CAI Saturday Ideally.

Been too busy doing preventive and incidental repairs. All I have left is the plugs to do.

Also found a cheap reusable filter for the time being(as in under that ridiculous $70 mark up)

That filter looks pretty cool. I can't wait to see what you do with the CAI. It might give me some ideas when I do mine.

Don't you just love the suspension travel on the Century when you try to raise it up? haha

Plugged the Y2k Canadian cluster in and it didn't like the 98. Air bag light wouldn't stay and PRND321 gear selector didn't work. Next best thing was razor cut the 2 corners to swap the symbols. Since my cluster was out I re soldered the resistors for the PRND321 and mileage issue. Will snap pics tomorrow in the day time. An overlay wouldn't be too hard to make for us and there is a spot for DIS on the back of the cluster. They literally just short changed us on that tac and DIS. Make it a Limited only option or something.

That's strange. I would have thought they would be essentially identical electronically. Maybe it was a faulty cluster? I bet the gear selector display is just the resistors..

I'd still like to see how well a cluster with DIC and control would work in the century. I'm not sure how the switch is connected though.. if it goes to the BCM rather than the cluster.

You would have to see the resistor swap video that showed both clusters. One guy went form non DIS to DIS by swapping another cluster but had both side by side. have to find that video again. Here are the pics.

Here is the side by side before the swap of the corner circle icons.

Not much new here. Turned all lights and radio off on a recent trip and used just the scan gage for low light. Needed to concentrate on all these deer that are dead all over the turnpike. Took 2 quick pictures.

And bottom right was my trip MPG... Keeping up on maintenance of a 1998 buick pays off.
