I just saw this on another forum. I'm not sure if you've seen it or not when you were thinking about the CAI.

I picked one up the other day at the JY. You can get them in some S10/Blazers. I got it from a 2002 Blazer. The PCM fit in it perfect, but the tray itself will need trimming to fit. I'm thinking about just ordering a cone filter to replace the airbox for now. Eventually, I'm gonna order a kit to fit a Grand AM/Alero and make it fit.
The 3100 sounds very throaty without an airbox. I can't wait until I make a WAI/CAI

Anyone else having an issue signing on?
Been doing some work on the car and debating on if I want to P&P the Impala LIM/UIM when I get back to Ohio. Plugs, both o2 sensors, passenger motor mount, drivers side window switches, plugs, trans fluid and filter.
I also got a new toy.

Yes and no. Being a 98 it doesn't monitor stuff newer OBD2 can bus cars do. Using the laptop on my Subaru, I can even monitor the fuel temperature and if the defrost button is on. All that technology it still didn't save the turbo from killing the engine.

I can show the different back light colors when it gets darker outside and switch a few values.
28.8 is the average MPG that 90.5 was instant MPG and I was just coasting. 28.8 with a dead downstream o2* is decent, I can only expect better.

That's really cool! I have the Torque app on my phone and it shows a lot of parameters similar to that. I love using it. One thing I hate about the Century is the lack of a Tach. Apparently the Regal cluster would work in the Century though... I've been checking the JY for one

Finding a Canadian century cluster was easy. Regal one was hard because the places wanted me to give a regal gauge in return with core charge. Went to jy for the maf and forgot the ecu bracket.

I can get the gauges for $40, and they don't even care what kind of car you have and the core charge is only $5. The problem I have is that they don't have any Regals there. They have 6 or 7 Centuries and 2001 and 1994 Lesabres, but no Regals. I was also thinking about getting the electronic climate controls if I could find them.
