My 2000 LaSabre has both left side windows not working. You can hear the motor running but they will not move Can anybody help me??

the window is off the track. Don't run it "down" and leave it there because the window is probably just hanging there and could slip down into the door and shatter. run the motor up and leave it there. i had this problem on a 94 grand am
