Greetings. My wife has a 2003 Century with a haunted drivers side power window. Almost every time she starts the car, the drivers side window goes fully down by itself. Now, I know that the most likely culprit is a weird defect in the switch. It has the express down mode that will put the window all the way down if you depress the button fully. What is strange is that the window never, ever goes down by itself at any other time. This only happens when she starts the car. Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this? Is there anything I can check to try to find the problem? Is there anything other than the switch itself that it can be? It bugs me to no end that it never happens while she is driving. The switch and window operates normally otherwise. Please help. It is driving me crazy and you can only imagine what it is doing to my wife.

 

it could be a wiring problem...but im thinking that the switch is a more likely culprit.
