Hi, I have a 2003 Buick Lesabre. This afternoon, I noticed a large amount of clear liquid leaking out the bottom of the engine, on the passenger side. It seems to be dripping out from underneath the crankshaft. It looks like water, and I don't smell much, except when I get really close it smells... dirty. Not sure what this could be, any help would be appreciated! I have a couple pictures of the leak location. It might be worth noting that my heater stopped working about three weeks ago, and I had the transmission replaced just a few days ago (but it really doesn't look or smell like transmission fluid) and I didn't notice any leaks until today.

That seems like quite a bit of fluid..
With the weather you folks have been having could it be just condensation from the exhaust?
Have you had to add any coolant?
If the source cannot be immediately seen, we usually will apply some pressure to the cooling system and see if the pressure (15 lbs) drops and a leak becomes more visible..

I think Frampton had a pretty good idea there. What was the conclusion ?

Or heater core... But usually that will leak inside the car, but it would be on the correct side.
