Hello,

I have 1996 Buick regal 3.8L (live in CA).
The car has 181K miles on it. I cleaned the MAF and EGR units allready.
I keep getting the following ODB2 faults.
P0102, P0401 and P0441.I know what the books says,
but I need additional information on the root cause.
The car idles a little ruff and when I get on the freeway or driving on a grade at freeway speeds. The car will stutter/ hesitate for a moment.

The Check engine light also comes and goes.

I can not accept that I have multiple sensors that are bad, but which

is the bad one.

thank you
Juan

I'm new to this site and still learning about how to use it

Is the TPS a Throttle Position Sensor.

Can I remove it and clean it or do I have to purchase a new

one.

thanks

Yes that is correct. On mine located no the Trottle body near the MAP Sensor. You cannot clean it. Sensor is not too expensive.

How does the TPS sensor cause all of the above faults.

Why does not the computer catch the fault at TPS itself.

I will purchase a new one, I just like to know?

Something else my car does, with the car in PARK, I rev the engine

to 4000 RPM and the engine starts to stutter.

Thanks

Juan
