I Have a 2001 Buick LaSabre and it takes three times of cranking to start the engine. This occurs when the engine is hot or cold. I have replaced the battery and fuel filter and the problem still exists. The spark plugs were changed about 1 year 2 months ago with about 36K miles since the change. The engine seems to start easier when I have a full tank of gas? Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I had the same problem and it ends up the fuel pump was almost shot. So get the pump checked. That could explain why a full tank would help start the car, less pressure on the pump. Hope this helps!

check those plugs also, I know 36K isn''t alot but take time to look at them. The fuel pump sounds right, could well be it. Let us know.
