Check Engine light

For some reason my 86 park avenue sometimes displays the check engine soon light when there is a change in the weather. I suspect that the wiring may be exposed and could possibly that could be the reason. Any Tips???

first thing to do would be to find out what code is being tripped. and then diagnose what circuit shows the fault.
