To replace cabin air filter I bought a Puralator brand at Pep Boys it
had instructions. I told them the dealer was asking 25.00 and they
matched the price (40.00). To get access there is a small white door
next to the gas pedal at the firewall with a thumb and forefinger pull
the door down and off a lot of dirt comes out. Then pull the rectangle
tap if it breaks off get a "L" wire made and yank it out. Three of them
stacked one on top of the other. They are knotched to make easy
removal. Shop vac with crevice tool the cavity. Push the new ones in
easy.

Please tell me your secret on how you found it so easy to install the 3 filters. I spent 2-3 hours trying to get the new filters installed without any success. I'musing Purolator C35409. I get the first one in OK but cannot get it to stay in position to receive the second section. The first one keeps moving out of place. What's the secret?

It is difficult. You have to slide the 2nd and 3rd pieces into the grooves on the prior piece before pushing them up.
