ok - I have a 1994 buick century, 6 cyl engine, all of sudden, the car will just die when i am driving down the road, sometime after a foot, sometimes I cna drive 20 or 30 miles before it dies, have to turn the key all the way off, then bck on, then it runs just fine - untill it dies again.

Check spark, it DOES NOT loose spark when it dies, replaced the fuel pump last month, also replaced the fuel pressure regualator yesterday, did not help anything.

since we had the parts here, also replaced all the coils, and the ignition control module, and the crank position sensors - still no change.

So what do we check next on this thing? - the owner is not wanted to throw any more money into is unless we know for sure what the problem is?

Thanks

Does the vehicle die at any specific speed or RPM? You might want to check the idle control, and pcv valve. IC could cause complete stall failure, PCV more than likely not.

If the problem is intermitted, and not related to a specific RPM or speed, it could more than likely be the ECU itself.

put a scanner on it to see if both quad drivers are good.
