I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX. The red check battery light stays on in the instrument panel, plus all the door locks LOCK and UNLOCK by themselves (even with the engine turned off). My husband disconnected the battery so it wouldn't run down.


Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem? Thanks.

 

After leaving the battery disconnected for over 24 hours, the battery was again connected. It seems to have reset something in the system. Theproblems mentioned previously seem to be solved, at least temporarily.

 

reset is prolly the ECU - get the car diagnosed - either through a stealer or through something like CarMD
