02 Rdvz, FWD, won't start. I can hear the starter, battery is good, tested and charged, alternator good. Ran a wire from the starter solenoid (small wire) to battery. Starter clunks but no start. Had new starter in, no go.

Don't have a oem radio in (double din pioneer) so I can't tell if maybe it is the passkey ??

Any other suggestions. No codes, not even pending, shown by my actron scanner.

 

If solenoid clicks in starter should work, perhaps bad contacts in starter relay if you have one even? Those can pit and carbon up to the point of not passing enough current. Need amps to turn starter not volts per se. Well, need voltage also but a connection the size of a pinhead or less will give you reading on that.
