Default mass air flow

i have a 2000 buick regal ls where would io be able to locate the mass air flow sensor ?

I'm not 100% sure where it is on the 3800. If it's not by the air box, it might be a part of the throttle body.

To help locate the MAF sensor just trace the air intake tubing from the air filter assy.
It is located between the air filter and the throttle body.
Just look for a black box type assy with three wires going to it .

ok thank you i found it also i was thinking about putting a cold air intake on but they do not make one for a 2000 buick regal and also what is in the air box besides the air filter?

The PCM (computer) is in the air box. You can just zip tie it to where the air box mounts, or you can pick up a PCM tray from a Blazer/S10 and install that.

The S/C intake kits work on N/A Regals/Centuries depending on where your coolant over flow and washer fluid tank is located or relocated.
