How do i remove door handle on ’’99

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to remove the driver''s side door handle on a ''99 regal ls.
The power locks were not working on the drivers side so i removed the inside door panel and it turned out that the wires were just unplugged. so now the inside lock/unlock button works but my key still will not lock or unlock the car from the outside. the passenger door works fine.
