Changing Transmission Cooling lines, Advice is needed
My father has a 1995 buick regal custom 3.8 and the transmission cooling lines are leaking extrememly bad, to the point where there is large puddles of oil every morning. Im going to be replacing them for him this weekend and would like to if this is straight forward job or is there anything I should be expect to have to fight with or change in addition to the lines? Also is there a step by step guide for this repair?

There are a couple of routes you can take.
One would be to get enough steel lines from any auto supply store with the fittings to connect them. If you get an approx measurement you can get the right combinations of lengths to make the job fairly easy.
Another would be to tell the counter person at the auto supply what you are trying to do and they may make some addl recommendations with the stuff they have available.
You need to keep in mind those lines can develop some high pressures so if you need to make a connection with a short piece of hose and clamps , get something like fuel line hose it will stand up to the pressure and oils.
