I have owned many GMs and over the years I have learned that I do not like the problems with the 200r4 trans. I have a 84 Regal Limited, the trans needs rebuilt but I am wondering what it would take to put in a 350 turbo or a 700 trans. I have never converted from one to the other but have owned GMs with 350''s and 700''s and never had a problem with them, but I have had problems with every 200 I have ever had. If any one has done this and can give me some input on other things i need to do to make the change over I would be very greatfull.

 

i read it was a direct bolt up, BUT you''ll have to get the drive shaft cut.
