Hi all new member here. Looking for help with the fuel tank on my 67 Electra. I have cleaned the tank fairly well and would like to reuse it, I have had the sending unit rebuilt problem I am having is the fuel filler neck has become disconnected. I am assuming during hot dip baths the seal become removed and now seems to be unobtainable. I have manuals for the car and attached is what is shown but I have never seen that seal. Any suggestions?

You should be able to purchase that type seal from any auto supply store that sells "O" rings.
If you have a NAPA around ,try them.

 

Thanks for the reply. I have seen parts stores have these but seem only common for Mopar. I can’t tell if it’s more of a grommet or an O ring. Having never seen the actual seal prohibits me from matching it to something close.
