Selling my fiancee's 2000 Century custom. I'm going to use a format from another car forum as I feel it's forthcoming, detailed and accurate:

- Engine: 3.1 GM V6
- Interior: light grey cloth...I'd say 7-8/10
- Exterior: Deep plum/maroon...I'd say 6-7/10
- Stereo & Nav: Stock am/fm/cass/CD
- Suspension: stock

The Good: Car runs excellent, many new/newer parts (past 1-1.5 years) including, brakes, 4 tires, inner tie rods, EGR valve assy. Car is reliable and runs well, cold A/C, ABS, dual airbags....NO RUST! (southern car)

The Bad: Needs steering rack. Has GM steering issue (ask your mechanic about the TSB--technical service bulletin--on this)...car turns to the right fine w/ Power steering, but left turns Power steering doesn't work---wheel turns, just takes more effort). Plus a few misc. things--check engine light comes on (common for these cars), missing a hubcap ($10-$20 at a J/Y), driver's side rear window doesn't go up or down.


Other than that, a reliable, good running car w/ an annoying turning issue. I found a used steering rack at a local yard for $50, but I don't have a lift (or the time, tools, and/or talent) to replace it.


Car gets decent gas mileage....averages around 26-28mpg's in city/hwy mixed driving.
