restoring 69 gs convetible

hello, i am new to this forum. and as you can see i am trying to restore a 69 gs400 skylark convertible. have all parts except for powerplant and tranny. car now has a 72 oldsmobile 455, i'm looking for a 68 through 70 400ci and th400 transmission. i'd appreciate any new leads. thank you, and hope to hear from somebody soon.

love to see em. and ud rather have a 400 than an olds 455 rocket???

hello, thanks for your response. working on getting the pics in, i'm a framer/carpenter, right now is peak season so i'm kinda busy. plus i'm still learning how to use the computer. about the engine, from what i've readthe 400 puts out more horse power than a 72 455, and how can i drive a buick when the intake manifold says oldsmobile. (currently do not drive the car, started taking it apart) can it be switched? cause it would do untill i find a 400.
