New Buick Owner
Greetings from Kansas City. I am the proud new owner of a 1990 Century Limited, just drove her home from Illinois this weekend. The car was my late aunt's and I was given the car by my sister who inherited her estate. I always name my cars and this one was soon christened "Dunbar" after David Dunbar Buick of course.
This is my first ever Buick and I like to do some of my own work, or at least trouble shooting. Dunbar will be a gently used daily driver. I live in the city and frequently take bus, walk or bike to avoid parking and the traps of city driving.
For specs, Dunbar is a Century Limited 4 door sedan, dark gray with matching interior and has but 76,000 mi. My aunt bought the car used in Jan 1996 with 66,000 on the clock so in nearly 14 years the car has been driven about 10,000 miles. Dunbar is fully loaded with all power and the 3.3 V6. In 2007 it received a new, professional and accurate paint job and new headliner. Dunbar looks practically new.
I know the 90's Century is hardly the most spectacular Buick ever built, but the car is solid, runs perfect and seems to be well screwed together even after 19 years.
I look forward to lots of good times with Dunbar and also checking out the forum from time to time!
