but it is for the same platform.

when it comes to drivetrain, and back-bone wiring, the Lesabre and bonneville are equals. both are H body platforms.

I gotcha... I tried to locate the module and I did but, I can't access it enough in order to do the test with a paper clicp or whatever. I'm going to look into taking it to a place to read the code some time this week. No biggy. Then, I'll know for sure.

just becareful about letting them replace stuff. use your best judgment. Write down the code(s) and take what they say with a grain of salt.

Yes dad! Seriously though, I know 100% what to watch for. I've been working on and tinkering around with cars all my life and I worked as a mechanic for several years so, I for sure know what to look for. I also have a budy that owns a shop so, I'll stop there first and see if he can help me out. Thanks thought for watchin out there dad..

ok sam, I just got back form a test drive after instllin the ICM and coil pack. everything went good. So, so far so good. Usually, if I'm in heavy traffic, it would die a time or two and then of course run like crap but, no more. Also, I can for sure tell a difference in how she runs now and maybe even gas millage. I'm thinkin it was the coil pack but, now that I got both of them "new" we should be good to go.

Thanks bunches again.

Nope, I did not. If (and when) the service engine soon light comes on again, I'll see about getting them. I'm thinking it was to do with the coil pack.. spark, loss of fire in a cylinder or some such.. not worried about it now.
