Intake Manifold Gasket on 95 LeSabre
#1
I found some coolant pooling between the plastic intake manifold and the front rocker cover on my father-in-law's 95 LeSabre. Shop quoted him $500! The plastic manifold is right on top with very little in the way , making it seems like a pretty simple job so I plan on doing it the next time I see him. I checked the plugs and there doesn't seem to be any coolant leaking internally.
I found a gasket set from Felpro, but it's listed as a "lower set." Is this what I need? Do I need other gaskets for this job like the throttle body gasket?
I don't have a manual for his car so any tips would be greatly appreciated, like torque values for the manifold bolts and any other things to watch for.

If its the Plentum, I think theres an aftermarket metal replacement for that.. I hear the job is about 3-4 hours so the price is about right fora shop giving the cost of the parts, Plus Labor. ..
Ive heard ofhoses leaking around there.. dry it up and look closely.. could save a bundle ..
If its the plennum.. your back to paying yourself or a shop.
Good Luck
