Generally, a fuel pump on it's way out does not get better at any time!, Just worse. !
On the other hand a crank sensor that opens up internally when hot ,can work OK once it cools down. Thai is what I am basing my suggestions on.

I’ll try the crank sensor trick next but I might just change it out.
i hate being stranded off the side of the road bad enough to eliminate it as a possible issue by throwing in a new one.

It is not a difficult job to replace a crank sensor, but it sure would be good to know for sure by just having some cool water available to prove that was actually the problem.
You will need to remove the crank pulley to do this, so if you have the means available , good, if not , get what you need together so you can complete the job correctly.once started.

I’ve got a bad boy 1150K Aircat impact and a puller. Is there anything else that anyone can think of that could slow me down?

Ive been driving the car around locally with a bottle of water but haven’t had use for it yet.

its hotter than it should be here in Utah’s the only thing that’s slowing me down from just gettin’ er’ done but I might just make it my weekend project.

If you want it to happen, just leave the bottle of water home lol !
