Swapped computer and prom over, volt light is off now still have the
SES light however and the car still don''''t down shift. Any clues or
tips, the car still runs great and goes in all gears just no kick down

got
the cluster with all the gages, go figure this would be one of the few
GM''''s thats not plug and play, has anyone ever swapped one out with the
basic speedo and fuel gage and got it to work? if so what all do we
need to change to get it to work besides the oil PSI sensor

Thanks for any help,

Donnie H.

94 and the same car as mine even down to the color as well. When we plug the cluster in it blows the fuse that runs the ac control panel/dome light switch, but the dome lights will still work if the doors open "weird"

maybe the junk yard cluster is defective. you should have no issues with the same year.

for the pcm, did you swap the prom from the original pcm?
