I have a 2005 Buick Lesabre with approximately 112k miles. I'm having an issue with the brake light switch and connectors. I keep having a surge of power I'm guessing that either fries the switch or melts the gray female connection that then fries the switch. I have replaced the plug and had no issues for about 2 weeks. It never pops the fuse. I have spent quite a bit but can't find the source. Am I missing a resistor or something? Any help on either fixing the issue or finding the source of the issue would be appreciated.
