Replaced my TPS yesterday, drove it and it was fine after filling up on coolant, I had just done my thermostat too, I shut the car off, got a soda from a gas station, upon return when the car was turned on it would rev at 2-3k rpm, as opposed to 700-1k.

I have checked all the sensors around the TPS, unplugging the TPS allows me car to rev at 1k or under, with it plugged in, 2-3k, I never had a chance to calibrate it as no one had told me until after I had bought and replaced it.

I have it unplugged at the moment still, and cant find anyone that knows how to calibrate these, would love information on how to if anyone has the info to spare.
