Default 2003 LeSabre vibration at 65mph

Just inherited a 2003 LeSabre Custom with 10,000 miles. It belonged to an elderly family member that drove the car a couple times a week, but less than 20 miles/trip (ie, around a small town). It hasn't really been driven since March.

At 65 mph, I get a vibration in the car. I feel it in the seat. If I have a drink in the cup holder, it will shake. The vibration goes away above 75 mph and below 65 mph. I don't feel the vibration in the steering wheel nor do I hear any unusual sounds.

The tires (original) were showing signs of dryrot so I replaced all 4 tires from a shop I've used many times. No change.

The brakes weren't "smooth" so I replaced the front rotors and pads - now they are smooth.

But, I still have the vibration with no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I have a 99 LeSabre and I have the same problem. I have spent about $2k trying to fix it and it still has the vibration. I have replace axles, hubs, rotors, bushings, struts, tires, etc. I have had all four tires and rims road force balanced. I have taken it to a transmission place and had them look at it. I have a friend that is a GM certified mechanic that works at the local Buick dealership that has tried everything that him or any of his coworkers can think of and nothing has helped. I love the car but the vibration is driving me nuts. I am fixing to get rid of it and get me a Park Avenue and be done with the LeSabre's. I think this is an fairly common problem with the LeSabre's.

Yeah, I have had the transmission, motor mounts, CV joints, axles, etc all inspected and they all check good. No one can figure this out. Hard to believe a car with 10k miles would have this problem. I've been a Toyota owner most of my life. I have a 2003 Tundra that has 140k miles that I've never had to do anything to except basic maintenance. I surely wouldn't buy a Buick now.
