Our ABS light is on. What are the possible causes and hopefully what can we do to resolve the problem without spending a fortune at the dealership?</font></font></font>

Its most likely a Wheel /HUB sensor assembly.

Brake repair shops charge $80 to diagnose usually and often some of that is put towards the repair costs.

If it is the wheel hub

$75 Labor
$80 Diagnostic
$130 Wheel hub assembly
-------------------------
$300 approx TOTAL

EBAY view..

Good Luck
