A while back, our ABS light went on. It was repaired and now it is happening again. Each time it has happened, has been after we were forced to drive through water during a heavy rain. Is this a commom happening? Have there been any recalls regarding the replacement parts or in regard to the placement of the offending sensor?

the hub bearing assemblies are a common with many fwd car. the abs sensor is attached to it, so even if the bearing may be good, the whole unit has to be replaced, for just the sensor.
