Need help identifying the engine in a 37 special. The engine has been replaced and was told it was a 53 model 263. The eng serial number is
60088965 and the casting number on block is 1339320-4. From the research I've done, It doesn't appear to be a 263.

 

I'm not positive on this, but in 53 , Buick used V8 engines.
