ive got a 1973 riviera i just bought. the power left side rear window will not work from the front or back control. iwhat steps should i take to resolve or find out the problem. thanks

 

if you dont have any experience with wiring/electronics, it will be tough...one way to get an idea of what is wrong, is to let the car sit at idle, and push the switches for the windows. most cars, especially older ones, will have enough power draw to bring the engine rpm down a little when the switches are used. have it in park, with the headlights on...if you push the switch and notice NO power draw or change rpm, youre not getting power to the system. if you do notice a draw, it means that the switch is getting and sending power, but the window just isnt moving.
