I have a 1980 regal and the heater blows cold. With the engine warmed up and idling the hoses are all pressurized. When I shut the engine off, bubbles flow into the radiator overflow tank. I suspect the thermostat isn't working but don't know for sure. Anyone have a similar situation or ideas?

Maybe your thermostat is stuck open, does the motor take more time than usual to get warm ?
