Hanky, Again, Thank you for the effort. To update, I took the car to a trust-worthy mechanic. He ran his own diagnostics and could find no codes being indicative of potential problem or otherwise. He "de-carbonized" the intake system and thoroughly examined/cleaned the idle air control as well as the mass air flow sensor. Checked as well for fuses, and the integrity of various electrical connections that may have been loose/corroded. He drove the car mumerous times over the three days that he had the car. Bottom line is that he could not reproduce the problem or find any thing definative. Car is running great. Keeping fingers crossed for best luck. I'll submitt a new post if this gremlin returns.
