Our 91 Riviera started stalling at stop lights, now it will turn over and run for a second and die. I have been told it was everything from my egr valve, to my fule filter, to my fuel pump... Once you get it started and hold the accelerator it will rev , but as soon as you take your foot off to drop in gear, it quickly dies.... help

 

I ve got the same probleme with my regal 94. In my case it was the EGR
valve. I suggest you to make a good tune up also (change air and gaz
filter, spark plug and cable, check the charging circuit).



You can got an EGR valve used for not to much.

 

Thank you for your input, I was trying to change the fuel filter, i can not figure the darn thing out........
