2001 century egr code 1404

hi, I am getting code 1404 egr gas recirculation egr error #2.I replaced this egr with a new about 11000 miles ago, the car has 79000 miles. any ideas? should I replace again with another new one?

No don't replace it agian. I am almost positive that there is a new PCM calibration for this car. I know that there is one for code P1404 just not sure what years but I would almost guarantee that is what you need.
