Default 1995 Park Avenue Rear Wheel Alignment Question

I recently purchased a 1995 Park Avenue because it was in great shape and had low mileage. I took it to get new tires and wheel alignment (the rear tires have uneven wear). The service person said that they aligned the front wheels but the rear wheels could not be aligned. When asked why he said there were no rear wheel alignment adjusters on that car. Could this be correct or is it more likely that they did not have the equipment needed for the job?

He's correct if car is rear wheel drive. Front FWD, the practice is to align all 4 corners. However those may be front wheel drive and use shims on back? https://www.moog-suspension-parts.co...-alignment-kit

Thanks for the reply. The car is FWD. If I understand you correctly, it indeed is possible to align the rear wheels. Do you have any idea why the serviceperson would claim that the rear wheels could not be aligned? This was a well known national tire chain.

Don't know the exact procedure of coarse except it can be done perfect with the newer computerized alignment machines as far as I know little room for human error and a printout inc. Maybe it's just not practical with some models, tech should of explained why not if it's supposed to be done I would think.
