I just bought a 1947 Buick and i need to have the vin tag and body tag decoded. Any help would be appreciated.

Most shops probably don't even know how to open the hood on those years. They did then and many years later had a ride that Cadillac couldn't match ,

FYI, If you release both sides of the hood , you can lift the entire hood right off. Great when doing a lot of engine work
