Hi, I'm new to this forum & drive a '92 century. I'm interested in adding power, anything can help. I've recently installed a huge airintake filter/tube, gave me a noticable ammount of acceleration. never clocked my 0-60 time, but I'm guessing its around 6 seconds atmost.


any suggestions?

 

Most factory vehicles have very restrictive exhaust systems, which can be updated with high flow cats and high flow mufflers. Though they typically add some noise, they may be what you are looking for. Ray

 

I would agree, the first things you want to change are thisngs that will cause bottle necking. Like if you had a stock exhaust you could do a number of things the the engine, but it won't matter and infact maybe even hurt if your exhaust can't get out fast enuff. That being said, the first place you should always start is your axhaust.


After that you can do a number of things, turbo(s), supercharger, NOS (ewww), boar the block, get bigger rings/pistons, things like that.

 

ur cenury does not run 0-60 is 6 sec. i call out the bs flag.

accel make high perf coils for ur icm. id search for an upgraded icm before u mess w high output coils though. that would make a noticeable difference.
