I know this may be a dumb question but does anyone out there know where a guy could find those really hard to find super rare metal tank straps that hold the plastic gas tank. It would be nice to have the stock straps holding the tnak in and not bailing wire, the cars too nice to do that to.

Tanks (get it)

The obvious answer would be your local salvage yard, or even a body shop, if all else fails check with your local Buick dealer. You might try some of the local parts stores.

well nothing at the junkyards, GM discontinued them so noone else as them which i find odd since they made a billion park aves) my guess is that you can still get the straps but you gotta buy the $800 gastank which i don''t need. Just curious if there is a buick parts hoarding guy out there(just met the olds parts hoarding guy a couple months ago). Oh well I''ll just go the chip foose route and fabricate something.

thanks guys
